08:34 AM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NG Energy International ( GASXF ) said Wednesday that it completed drilling of the Aruchara-4 ST-1 well at the Maria Conchita gas field in Colombia.
The well is now tied into the central processing facility, and initial production from the H1 and H2 zones has reached up to 15.9 million cubic feet per day.
NG Energy ( GASXF ) expects the well to be cash flow positive in the fourth quarter.
While drilling the Aruchara-4 ST-1 well, the company said it identified gas in three additional zones, which it plans to test after the recompletion of the Aruchara-3 well is finished and the well is put back on production.
Meanwhile, NG Energy ( GASXF ) said it successfully installed new point handling equipment at the main central processing facility at the Sinu-9 field, with 60 MMcf/d of processing capacity between the 2 plants now in place.
Steady state production at Sinu-9 has increased to 24.0 MMcf/d, NG Energy ( GASXF ) said.
NG Energy ( GASXF ) and its joint venture partners plan to spud the Hechicero-1X well at Sinu-9 at the end of November.
"I am confident we have the right team and infrastructure in place as we enter this exciting new period of growth and make a meaningful impact on delivering sustainable natural gas to Colombia's energy market in the years to come," executive chairman Brian Paes-Braga said.
NG Energy's ( GASXF ) share price fell 5.8% on Tuesday to $0.98 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
