08:08 AM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NG Energy International ( GASXF ) said Wednesday that its comprehensive loss narrowed in the second quarter.
The natural gas exploration and production company posted a comprehensive loss of US$8.6 million, or a loss of US$0.03 per share, compared to the previous year's comprehensive loss of US$14.2 million, or a loss of US$0.06 per share.
Revenue net of royalties fell to US$6.3 million from US$8.6 million although impairment loss was nil compared to $9.7 million last year.
"Our focus for the rest of the year will be on optimising operations and ramping up production," CEO Jorge Fonseca said. "These efforts, combined with favorable market conditions, position NGE for strong performance and value creation in 2025."
