Jan 20 (Reuters) - The National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration (NHTSA) on Monday upgraded its investigation into
250,491 U.S. Honda Motor ( HMC ) vehicles from a preliminary
evaluation to an engineering analysis over reports of
inadvertent activation of the Automatic Emergency Braking
system.
The analysis involves Honda Insight and Honda Passport
vehicles built between 2019 and 2022.
