NiCAN Kicks Off Drilling on Pipy South Project in Manitoba
Nov 19, 2025 7:17 AM

09:01 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NiCAN ( NILTF ) said Wednesday that it has commenced a diamond drilling program at the Pipy South nickel project in Manitoba.

The program will initially focus on two priority target areas where intervals of massive to disseminated nickel sulfides have been intersected.

The company identified a third target area on Pipy South thorough recently acquired deep penetrating geophysical data.

"This will be the first time drilling has been conducted on this portion of the Pipe Formation in 50 years," Chief Executive Officer Brad Humphrey said.

"Pipy South is particularly exciting as historical drill logs indicate the presence of nickel mineralization associated with the Pipe Formation, which hosts all the economic nickel mineralization within the Thompson Nickel Belt," Humphrey added.

NiCAN's ( NILTF ) share price surged 12.5% on Tuesday to C$0.045 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
