NII Subsidiary Wins Contract from New Jersey Transit for Up to 1,300 Xcelsior Transit Buses

07:35 AM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NFI Group ( NFYEF ) , which jumped 5.4% last Friday on the Toronto stock exchange, said a subsidiary won a contract from the New Jersey Transit for up to 1,300 Xcelsior 40-foot clean-diesel transit buses.

The subsidiary, New Flyer of America, received an initial firm order for 175 buses from NJ Transit with the option to purchase up to 1,125 additional buses. The new high-performance buses will replace end-of-life vehicles in NJ Transit's fleet.
