01:17 PM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nike ( NKE ) and Under Armour ( UAA ) were among retail stocks rising on Wednesday after President Trump said that he has made a trade deal with Vietnam.

Shares of Nike ( NKE ) advanced 3.6% and Under Armour ( UAA ) rose 1.1% after Trump said Vietnam will pay a 20% tariff on all exports sent to the US and a 40% tariff on transshipping.

Trump said the US will have total access to Vietnamese markets and that US products exported to the country won't be subject to a tariff.
