No indication a cyber incident at Halliburton has impacted energy services, U.S. DOE says

Aug 22 (Reuters) - A cyber incident at oilfield services

firm Halliburton ( HAL ) has not impacted any energy services, a

spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Energy said on Thursday.

The DOE was coordinating with interagency partners on the

reported cyber attack, the spokesperson said. Halliburton ( HAL ) on

Wednesday confirmed it was experiencing an issue affecting

certain company systems and working with leading external

experts to remediate the problem.
