02:01 PM EDT, 10/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia ( NOK ) said Thursday it has launched the first commercial 5G network in Ecuador in partnership with the country's national telecommunications operator, Corporacion Nacional de Telecomunicaciones.

The deployment builds on CNT's existing 4G network and includes 188 sites in the country's largest city Guayaquil as well as other regions, Nokia ( NOK ) said.
