10:29 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia ( NOK ) said Thursday it was selected by the city of Superior, Wisconsin, to supply its fiber and IP technology products to build a fiber network.

The city will own and operate the network which will be used by internet service providers to deliver broadband services to 26,000 underserved residents, the company said.

Financial details were not provided.

Nokia ( NOK ) shares were rising 4% in recent trading.
