06:04 AM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia ( NOK ) said Tuesday it has secured a contract to modernize the communications infrastructure of European energy company E.ON.

Under the five-year contract, Nokia ( NOK ) will provide its network solution across optical, IP and fiber domains to upgrade E.ON's communications infrastructure beginning in Germany.

The deployment in Germany can be a model for other E.ON affiliates in Europe, Nokia ( NOK ) said.
