09:16 AM EST, 11/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia ( NOK ) said Monday it has struck a one-year 5G contract extension with Taiwan Mobile to enhance the latter's 5G network and upgrade its 4G/LTE service offering.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Under the agreement, Nokia ( NOK ) will provide equipment from its 5G AirScale portfolio in Taiwan, including its Habrok 32 and Osprey 32 Massive MIMO radios and Remote Radio Head products, the company added.

Taiwan Mobile will also deploy Nokia's ( NOK ) carrier aggregation technology to its network, the company said.
