10:14 AM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nordic American Tankers ( NAT ) Chief Executive Herbjorn Hansson said Tuesday he has bought 150,000 more shares of the company at $3.11 per share and now owns 5.1 million shares.

Hansson said that following the purchase, his family owns about 10.3 million shares of the company and is the largest private shareholder group.

The company's shares were up 3.3% in recent trading.
