11:35 AM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Norfolk Southern ( NSC ) and Florida East Coast Railway said Tuesday they are expanding their global and domestic interline services.

The Florida Express service, which is being used by anchor client Crowley, targets clients moving goods between South Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina, the rail operators said.

The collaboration is backed by a steel wheel interchange in Jacksonville, Florida, which improves services for clients that want to get access to international markets via South Florida, the companies said.
