10:37 AM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Norfolk Southern ( NSC ) said Wednesday it has reached a tentative agreement with the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers - Transportation Division.

Under the terms, Norfolk workers will receive a 3.5% average wage increase over the next five years, the company added.

The latest deal covers all of the company's conductors, Norfolk said.

The International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers - Transportation Division did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
