Northcliff Receives U.S. Funding to Speed Development of the Sisson Critical Minerals Project

12:22 PM EDT, 05/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Northcliff Resources ( NCFFF ) on Thursday said the U.S. Department of Defense awarded the company $20.7 million to advance development of the Sisson Tungsten-Molybdenum Project in New Brunswick.

Th funding will allow Northcliff to advance the Sisson Project toward a project construction decision. The company has also obtained conditional funding from Ottawa under Natural Resources Canada's Global Partnerships Initiative for up to $8.2 million to support the project.

"These funds will be collectively used to update the project economics and finalize details of the mine development plan, secure the remaining permits, and obtain the required authorizations to accelerate the Sisson Project toward a construction decision," said chief executive Andrew Ing.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.015 to $0.055 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
