12:11 PM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Northrop Grumman ( NOC ) and Aeronix have entered into a multi-million dollar strategic partnership to accelerate the development of advanced space-based cryptographic systems, the two companies said Wednesday.

The collaboration aims to significantly raise the speed and security of classified data processing and transmission and attain a five-fold increase in performance, according to a statement.

The two companies have previously collaborated to deliver a space-based mesh networking system to the Department of Defense, the statement said.
