Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $6.06.

Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $10.00 billion, up from $9.78 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $10.17 billion.

The defense contractor now expects 2024 adjusted EPS of $25.65 to $26.05, up from $24.90 to $25.30. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $25.21. The company still expects sales for the year of $41.00 billion to $41.40 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $41.32 billion.
