09:01 AM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NorthWest Copper ( NWCCF ) said Thursday that it maintained its option on the Asitka claims that form a key portion of its owned Arjay project in British Columbia.
NorthWest said the total Arjay project covers about 4,800 hectares and is located about 50 kilometers south of Centerra Gold's ( CGAU ) Kemess project.
The company said the Arjay project represents an important part of the company's total land package within British Columbia's Omineca district.
"Arjay is of particular interest owing to its excellent exploration targets, recent copper showing, open geochemical anomalies and close proximity to power and road infrastructure," said Geoff Chinn, vice president of business development and exploration at NorthWest.
"Given our priorities are on our advanced projects, early-stage projects like Arjay could benefit from partners to advance them."
