09:07 AM EDT, 07/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NovaBay Pharmaceuticals ( NBY ) and and Eyenovia ( EYEN ) said Monday they have begun working together under a previously announced co-promotion agreement.

The two companies agreed in March to commercialize prescription ophthalmic products in the US.

Under the agreement, Eyenovia's ( EYEN ) salesforce is promoting NovaBay's Avenova Antimicrobial Lid & Lash Solution to large ophthalmic surgery centers with Eyenovia's ( EYEN ) MydCombi for mydriasis.

NovaBay has also begun market preparation activities ahead of the launch of Eyenovia's ( EYEN ) Clobetasol Propionate Ophthalmic Suspension 0.05% to treat postoperative inflammation and pain. Clobetasol is expected to be commercially available in August, the companies said.
