05:38 PM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Novagold Resources ( NG ) said late Thursday it has appointed Peter Adamek as chief financial officer, starting July 15, succeeding David Ottewell, who is retiring.

Adamek previously served as vice president of finance at Hudbay Minerals (HBM).

Novagold shares were up 2.4% in after-hours activity.
