Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.93.

Net sales for the quarter were $12.82 billion, up from $11.78 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $12.67 billion.

Novartis ( NVS ) said it now expects 2024 core operating income to grow in the high-teens range on a low double-digit net sales increase. The company previously expected a mid to high teens increase in core operating income and a high single to low double-digit increase in net sales.
