Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.27.

Net sales for the quarter were $13.91 billion, up from $12.82 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $13.88 billion.

The company reaffirmed its guidance for 2025, with sales expected to grow in the high single-digits and core operating income seen rising in the low-teens range.

Shares of the company were down nearly 3% in premarket activity.
