Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.68.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $179 million, compared with $128.8 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $171.8 million.

The company said it expects Q4 adjusted earnings of $1.72 to $1.91 and revenue of $181 million to $191 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect adjusted EPS of $1.69 and revenue of $177.8 million.

Shares of Nova were up nearly 6% in premarket activity.
