09:41 AM EST, 11/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Novavax ( NVAX ) said Tuesday it has completed the transfer of the US marketing authorization for its COVID-19 vaccine Nuvaxovid to Sanofi ( SNY ) , which will allow Sanofi ( SNY ) to take responsibility for commercial and regulatory activities in the country.

The move triggered the second of two $25 million marketing authorization transfer milestone payments to Novavax ( NVAX ), following the EU transfer, which was finalized in October, Novavax ( NVAX ) said.
