June 10 (Reuters) - Novelis has restarted production at its

New York facility, the aluminum supplier said on Wednesday.

The plant is key to Ford's F-150 pickup truck line and

was hit by a second fire late last year that halted much of its

output.

Novelis said it was working closely with customers to ramp

up supply.

While Novelis also supplies other automakers, Ford is a

major consumer because its trucks use largely aluminum bodies.
