01:08 PM EST, 11/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) said Friday it has elected Lars Rebien Sorensen as board chair at its extraordinary general meeting.

Sorensen succeeds Helge Lund, who stepped down from the board along with several other members, the company said.

Cees de Jong was elected as vice chair, succeeding Henrik Poulsen, the company added.

Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) said both appointments run until the next annual general meeting in March 2026.
