12:39 PM EDT, 10/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) has hired Greg Miley as senior vice president of corporate affairs, according to a LinkedIn post by Miley on Friday.

He will join Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) next month from AbbVie ( ABBV ) , where he serves as senior vice president of government affairs.

In his new role, Miley said he will oversee Novo Nordisk's ( NVO ) global communication and public affairs functions.

"This opportunity comes at a pivotal moment for the company," Miley said in his post.

Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) is facing pricing pressure in the US, with President Donald Trump vowing to lower the price of the company's weight loss drug Ozempic.

Shares of Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) were down more than 3% in recent trading Friday.
