05:10 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Resources ( NSRPF ) after trade Wednesday provided an update on its exploration activities on its Australian mineral projects for the second half of 2025.
In the Pilbara region, Novo started its first reverse circulation (RC) drill program at Sherlock Crossing, targeting high-grade gold and antimony mineralization at the Clarke Mine, the company said, adding that drilling is expected to finish in September, with assay results anticipated by mid-October.
At the Wyloo Project in the South Pilbara, field mapping and sampling have confirmed strong silver, antimony, and gold anomalies, with notable rock chip results including 482 grams per tonne silver. The company is preparing this project for drilling.
Additionally, Novo's joint venture partner, Northern Star Resources, has begun aircore drilling at the Farno JV area within the Egina project, according to the statement.
The company also said it resumed exploration at Tibooburra in New South Wales and at the John Bull Gold Project, RC drilling is planned for the fourth quarter, pending final regulatory approvals and land access agreements.
Novo shares closed unchanged at $0.10 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
