07:34 AM EST, 01/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Novonix ( NVX ) announced on Friday that it is delaying the start of mass production of anode material for Japan's Panasonic Energy to H2 2027, from early 2026 as originally planned.
The company did not provide a specific reason for the delay, stating that "qualification of anode materials is a rigorous process, and timelines can vary depending on customer-specific material requirements and qualification protocols," according to a regulatory filing.
Novonix ( NVX ) shares were down 16.9% in recent premarket activity on Friday.
