NRG Energy Raises 2025 Earnings Guidance

04:48 PM EDT, 09/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NRG Energy ( NRG ) said late Wednesday it raised its full-year 2025 adjusted earnings per share guidance to $7.55 to $8.15 from the prior outlook of $6.75 to $7.75.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect $7.81.

The company said it plans to report Q3 financial results on Nov. 6.

Shares eased 1.6% during after-hours trading.
