Terms of the proposed sale, including the number of the shares to be offered and their price will become at a later date.

The drugmaker expects to use any proceeds from the offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.

NRx Pharmaceuticals ( NRXP ) shares were down over 15% in after-hours trading, adding to a more than 2% decline during Wednesday's regular session.
