Nucor Q4 Earnings, Sales Fall

04:38 PM EST, 01/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nucor ( NUE ) reported Q4 earnings late Monday of $1.22 per diluted share, down from $3.16 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.65.

Net sales in the three months ended Dec. 31 fell to $7.08 billion from $7.71 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $6.76 billion.

Shares of Nucor ( NUE ) rose 3.5% in recent after-hours activity.
