10:11 AM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nucor ( NUE ) said Monday it agreed to acquire Rytec, which manufactures commercial doors, through an all-cash, $565 million transaction.

Nucor ( NUE ) Chief Executive Officer Leon Topalian said the acquisition is in line with the company's strategy of expanding beyond its core steelmaking businesses and into related downstream businesses.
