NuScale Power Enters Tri-Party Agreement With Energy Department, CFPP

05:31 PM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NuScale Power ( SMR ) said in a late Wednesday regulatory filing that its unit entered a tri-party agreement with the US Department of Energy and CFPP to acquire CFPP's right, title, and interests in certain long lead time materials produced in support of the Carbon Free Power Project under a DOE award for $32.3 million.

CFPP will transfer the asset to be purchased by NuScale to the DOE if the deal does not close by Oct. 1, according to the filing.
