09:24 AM EST, 01/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NuScale Power ( SMR ) said Tuesday that it has named Alan Boeckmann non-executive chairman of the company's board of directors, effective Wednesday.

Boeckmann, who has been a board member of NuScale Power ( SMR ) since 2020, is succeeding Jim Hackett, who will step down from the board to become lead independent director at engineering and construction firm Fluor (FLR).

Shares of NuScale Power ( SMR ) were up 4.5% in recent premarket activity.
