Nuvei and JCB Expanded Partnership in APAC to Include Singapore and Hong Kong

06:18 AM EDT, 10/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nuvei ( NVEI ) , the Canadian fintech company, said it expanded its partnership with JCB International Co., Ltd., Japan's only international payment brand, to include Singapore and Hong Kong.

The expanded accord builds on the companies' existing European partnership, Nuvei ( NVEI ) said in a statement late on Monday. With the accord, Nuvei ( NVEI ), a fully licensed direct local acquirer in Singapore and Hong Kong that recently obtained a major payment institution license in Singapore, will be looking to increase its exposure to the rapidly growing Asia-Pacific eCommerce market.

NVEI rose $0.38, or 0.8%, to $45.65 yesterday, and is trading near its 52 week highs in Canada and the United States.
