08:38 AM EDT, 05/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nuvei ( NVEI ) , a Canadian fintech company, said on Thursday that Max Attias has stepped down as chief technology officer of the company to assume the new position of chief information officer.

The company tapped Gang Wang to serve as its new technology chief. In this role, Wang will oversee Nuvei's ( NVEI ) global technology team together with Attias. Previously, Wang served Stripe as head of payment methods.

The company's shares, which rose 0.4% in Canada yesterday, edged up 0.1% in US trading on Thursday.
