08:47 AM EDT, 06/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nuvei ( NVEI ) and VINCI Highways unit ViaPlus said Tuesday that they partnered to improve the payment experience for consumers when purchasing mobility services.

Under the partnership, ViaPlus' mobility back office, which processes and financially reconciles large volumes of transactions, would be integrated with Nuvei's ( NVEI ) global acquiring and processing reach and capacity to manage various digital applications through alternative payment methods (APM) integrations.

The integration of ViaPlus into Nuvei's ( NVEI ) payment technology platform introduces more than 700 new payment types to the ViaPlus system to form a new digital payment network called ViaPlus Nexus.

ViaPlus consumers will be able to pay for mobility services with new methods. ViaPlus will also include China's Alipay digital wallet.
