04:59 AM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia ( NVDA ) unveiled late Monday a personal supercomputer that provides access to its Grace Blackwell platform for artificial intelligence researchers, data scientists and students.
The company said the supercomputer features its new GB10 chip, offering developers a petaflop of AI computing performance for prototyping, fine-tuning and running large AI models. A petaflop is a measure of processing speed.
Chief Executive Jensen Huang said the chip effectively places "an AI supercomputer on the desks of every data scientist, AI researcher and student."
The new product will be available starting in May, the company said.
Shares of the company hit a record closing price on Monday, ending trade at $149.43, and were up 1.5% pre-bell Tuesday.
