06:20 AM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia ( NVDA ) said Friday it is working with Deutsche Telekom to establish Germany's first industrial AI cloud, aimed at supporting European manufacturers with AI-driven tools like simulation, robotics, and digital twins.
The project, which will be operated by Deutsche Telekom, includes 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and other AI infrastructure, making it Germany's largest AI deployment to date, the company said.
NEURA Robotics, a German robotics firm, plans to use the cloud's computing power to train cognitive robots through its Neuraverse platform, which allows robots to share and develop skills for various applications, Nvidia ( NVDA ) said.
The company also said Germany faces growing demand for data center capacity, which Deloitte estimates will triple in five years, and aims to bolster the country's AI capabilities across industries, academia, and research.
This AI factory is part of a broader push toward an EU-backed AI gigafactory, expected to launch in 2027 with 100,000 GPUs to provide advanced computing resources for businesses and researchers, Nvidia ( NVDA ) added.
Shares of Nvidia ( NVDA ) were down by 2% in recent Friday premarket activity.
