Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.74.

Revenue in the three months ended April 27 rose to $44.06 billion from $26.04 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $43.33 billion.

The company set fiscal Q2 revenue guidance of $45 billion, plus or minus 2%. Analysts expect $45.84 billion.

The company maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.01 per share, payable July 3 to holders of record June 11.

The company's shares rose 3.1% in after-hours trading.
