07:49 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia ( NVDA ) and other technology stocks will likely shake off any impacts of the US bombing of key Iranian nuclear facilities, Wedbush said in a note Sunday, as it encouraged investors to buy Nvidia ( NVDA ), Palantir Technologies ( PLTR ) , Microsoft ( MSFT ) , Oracle (ORCL), Amazon.com ( AMZN ) , and Tesla (TSLA) "on any weakness from geopolitical headlines."
The attack removed an overhang on the market as most investors believed it was a matter of "when" and not "if," Wedbush analysts said.
The US strike also removed a potential "black swan event" in the Middle East, as Saudi Arabia and the UAE look to embrace the AI revolution after President Donald Trump's last visit to the region, according to the note.
"A weakened Iran with no nuclear capacity removes the biggest threat to the Middle East and Israel, which will be viewed as a positive for the market and tech stocks in particular as investors digest this news," analysts, including Daniel Ives, said in the note.
The conflict will take some time to settle, with volatility still expected this week, but the market sentiment will be that the worst has passed, analysts said.
