03:02 PM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia ( NVDA ) and Uber Technologies ( UBER ) are collaborating to build a level 4-ready autonomous mobility network, leveraging the chipmaker's DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10 platform and DRIVE AV software, the companies said in separate statements Tuesday.
The partnership aims to expand Uber's ( UBER ) global self-driving fleet to 100,000 vehicles beginning in 2027, supported by a shared artificial intelligence data factory powered by the Nvidia Cosmos platform, Nvidia ( NVDA ) said.
As part of this initiative, Stellantis ( STLA ) will supply at least 5,000 autonomous vehicles to Uber ( UBER ) for robotaxi operations in the US and internationally, Uber ( UBER ) said.
Lucid (LCID) and Mercedes-Benz are also developing Level 4-ready vehicles, while Aurora, Volvo Autonomous Solutions, and Waabi are applying the platform to autonomous trucking, Nvidia ( NVDA ) said.
Nvidia ( NVDA ) shares rose 4.3% in recent Tuesday trading, while Uber ( UBER ) was slightly higher.
