02:35 PM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia ( NVDA ) on Tuesday introduced NVQLink, a new interconnect system that links quantum computers directly to its artificial intelligence chips, enabling real-time communication between quantum processing units and graphics processing units with latency as low as four microseconds.

Chief Executive Jensen Huang announced the technology during his keynote at the company's GTC event in Washington, D.C. He said that most US Department of Energy labs are already collaborating with Nvidia's ( NVDA ) ecosystem of quantum computing companies.

Huang also said the DOE is partnering with Nvidia ( NVDA ) to build seven new supercomputers as part of a broader effort to advance scientific research through AI infrastructure.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) shares were up 4.3% in recent Tuesday trading.
