04:35 PM EDT, 08/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NXP Semiconductors ( NXPI ) said Thursday its board approved an interim cash dividend of $1.014 per ordinary share for Q3, payable on Oct. 9 to shareholders of the record on Sept. 12.

The company said its board also authorized up to an additional $2 billion under the existing share repurchase program.

The current program has about $726 million remaining for share repurchase, according to NXP.
