Obsidian Energy Announces $48.4 Million Tender Offer for 11.95% Senior Notes Due 2027

01:21 PM EDT, 07/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Obsidian Energy ( OBE ) launched a tender offer to purchase up to $48.4 million of its 11.95% senior unsecured notes due July 27, 2027.

The offer is scheduled to expire on Aug. 12 with $112.2 million in principal amount of the notes currently outstanding, the company said Thursday in a statement.

Holders whose notes are accepted will receive $1,030 in cash per $1,000 of principal, plus accrued and unpaid interest up to, but not including, the expected settlement date of Aug. 15.

The offer is subject to certain conditions and may be amended, extended, or terminated. If demand exceeds the $48.4 million cap, tenders will be accepted on a pro rata basis, the company said.
