Obsidian Energy to Sell 32.7% Stake in InPlay Oil to Delek Group

07:53 AM EDT, 08/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Obsidian Energy ( OBE ) said Monday it signed an agreement to sell its nearly 32.70% stake in InPlay Oil Corp to Delek Group for an aggregate CA$91.4 million ($66.3 million).

Under the terms of the agreement, Delek Group will buy about 9.1 million shares in InPlay Oil Corp at CA$10.00 per share, Obsidian Energy ( OBE ) said, adding that the transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of August.

Additionally, Obsidian said that the purchase price for InPlay shares will be reduced by an amount equal to one-third of certain filing fees incurred by Delek Group related to the clearance of the transaction.
