Occidental Petroleum Unit, TAE Technologies Sign MoU to Explore Fusion Energy for Direct Air Capture Facilities

10:28 AM EDT, 06/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Occidental Petroleum's ( OXY ) Oxy Low Carbon Ventures unit and TAE Technologies said Tuesday they have a memorandum of understanding to study commercial opportunities for TAE's fusion technology to provide Direct Air Capture facilities with emissions-free power and heat.

TAE Technologies may show its power management systems' reliability, cost savings and safety in a high-use commercial environment.
