09:39 AM EST, 01/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ocean Power Technologies ( OPTT ) said Friday it's launching a new partnership with an initial $2 million of orders in Latin America.

The orders are for Ocean Power's ( OPTT ) next generation PowerBuoys, which use a mix of wave, solar, and wind power generation, the company said.

Shares were up more than 12% in early trading.
