Ocean Power Technologies to Deliver AI-Capable Buoy to US

08:37 AM EDT, 03/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ocean Power Technologies ( OPTT ) said Monday it has been awarded a contract for the immediate delivery of an artificial intelligence-capable buoy to the US.

The contract for the deployment of Power Buoy on the East Coast allows the integration of surface and subsea sensors in the future.

The company said additional details are not being disclosed because of the contract's confidential nature.
